About me

A bit more about who I am.

Miguel Fernández

I'm a senior frontend developer with 4+ years of experience building web applications and shipping products. I specialize in React, Next.js, Vue, and TypeScript, with a strong focus on AI-powered development.

I recently completed a Master's in AI Development at BIG school, covering LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, and building production AI products. I've built AI-powered SaaS products using OpenAI, Vercel AI SDK, Fal.ai, and Supabase — from real estate photo enhancement to game-style artwork generators.

I currently lead frontend implementation at Token City, collaborating closely with fullstack and backend teams. Previously, I worked at INDITEX Group improving performance and mentoring junior devs. I also created and monetized a Chrome extension (DeskBreak) that helps desk workers stay healthy. As a freelancer, I build client websites and ship my own products.

I hold a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Alicante (High Academic Performance Group in English), with an Erasmus+ semester at Cracow University of Technology studying Neural Networks and AI. I also contribute to open source — Spanish translations for Vitest, React, Vite, MDN, and Astro docs.
